There is a good reason that WordPress is so popular for online content management – it is easy to use and can be accessed from anywhere.

Another big phenomenon currently sweeping the Internet is the advent of paid memberships to specific websites. This system allows for the easy access to and dissemination of valuable content and provides not only the benefit of specialized knowledge to the subscribers, but also a handy income source for the producer. The integration of these two models can often be difficult. You have to deal with plug-ins, member directories, instituting recurring payment structures, and a whole bunch of other hassles. That’s where the MemberLock plug-in from Nanacast comes into play.

The biggest selling point of Nanacast’s MemberLock is the first feature you’ll notice: it works directly “out-of-the-box.” No fiddling with databases, no modifying your painstakingly designed theme, nothing. The next big selling point is that the MemberLock plug-in works with your Nanacast account to completely automate the recurring payments to your subscribers.

If a subscriber decides to stop paying, then their account in the MemberLock plug-in is automatically disabled.Such a level of systems integration means the supply of new content is the only thing left to get the dollars rolling in.And on the subject of recurring payments, it is easy to establish the payment structure and schedule in the way that suits you. Want to set up free trial membership for customers who buy one of your other products? Nanacast can do it, and set specific date ranges for that trial as well as special pricing points should those users decide to fully enrol.

Last, but certainly not least, is the use of “teasers” in the MemberLock system. This system allows you to create little teaser sections of your WordPress posts, like the introductory paragraph, and have them accessible to the public. Then, if the viewer clicks on the “Read More” link, they will be automatically forwarded to your sales letter (with a section for your registered members to log in, of course). And what shopping cart system will be powering that sales letter? Nanacast, of course, because this product is one of the first fully integrated delivery and business automation systems ever created. Whatever you want to do in e-commerce, odds are Nanacast can handle it.

WordPress and RSS

WordPress does have a lot of cool RSS features built in. That is one reason we love to use wordpress as our choice publishing platform here at RSS 3.0

However there are some functionality and capabilities that many people do not even know of and this is what we are going to discuss in this article. You can of course tell the feed how many posts to show and if you want your information syndicated as a description or full text and we do suggest that you use the full text of your posts, it’s like getting more bang for you buck as far as getting your content out there.

However, What About Multiple RSS Feeds?

This is a topic that very rarely gets discussed, unless you buy some fancy course and that’s not what we are about here. We are ready willing and able to share all the ins and outs of the rss world, so here we go!

Yes, wordpress is setup, by default ready to create as many different rss feeds as you could want.

Why would a person want more than one rss feed for the same web site or blog? Well for several reasons, the first and most obvious, being the fact that you can syndicate multiple rss feeds and drive more traffic back to your website by the extra exposure created. The second, may not be as important for smaller sites but is very important for huge sites or any web site with many categories of interest.

If you have a bunch of categories on your site and people interested in one may not be interested in the other, why not give your website visitors the control to choose with section of rss updates they want to follow? This is a great way to get more subscribers to your rss feed and make sure that your subscribers are only getting the updated information that interests them.

WordPress Multiple RSS Feed – How To

We want to let everybody know that there are some plugins that will allow you to do this, but we have found them to be literally useless and then they want a back link on your site on top of there lack of development. So, that in mind you have been warned and here is what you need to do to create your own rss feeds from your site.

1. Make all the categories you want on the site and make sure that the children categories are named as you would like your rss feed to be named.

2. Go to the wordpress blog category that you would like to make a new rss feed from.

3. In the address bar of your web browser, go to the end of the web address and add this /feed/ or /?feed=rss with the forward slashes!

4. Hit the enter key or load this web address you have just created.

5. Now you should be looking at a new RSS Feed of the category, you've done it!

This process can be repeated for as many categories as you like. All you need to do is add the link to the appropriate rss feed wherever it may be needed. If you want, you may add a new text widget and put the links to all of your rss feeds in it, so the visitors can choose the feed they want. If you have a rss submission software, make sure to add each rss feed to the software seperately now that they are created. If you run into any problems setting up your rss feeds from categories, please contact me directly and let me know, I am always glad to help in any way I can.

If you are considering Affiliate Marketing you should seriously consider Product Review Websites

Visitors to review sites are looking for their opinions to be confirmed prior to buying what they already wanted, so confirming their opinions & adding your affiliate links just prior to them buying is a formula for success.

Some of the major benefits review websites offer affiliates are -

Pre-Written Content

Sales copy is pre-written for you by the vendor!

As you are promoting an advertised product, all the details, benefits, & specifications are already available on the vendors site. Simply use this information & add your own comments to build your own content.

Your site is a “Review Site” in name only! If you are an affiliate you want the visitor to buy, so emphasize the products benefits to the user, & leave them wanting more. Use More Info buttons to forward them on through your link to the Vendors product or sales page.

Website Layout

Web design & structure is already predetermined as a review site, so building your site is easy using pre-configured templates or Word press plugins.

S.E.O

WordPress Blogs are easy to SEO using freely available plugins
Your main keywords will undoubtedly be the products themselves, It is a simple process of including associated keywords within the reviews of your primary & secondary products. Visitor comments will keep your site fresh & frequently crawled by the search engines, make sure you set the comments to require your approval before they are posted.

As you can see, review sites offer an easy & profitable option when developing affiliate websites. As an added bonus they also have very good quality scores, making pay per click campaigns possible.

Whether you use Blog Review Plugins, or WordPress Review templates, an Affiliate review site is a good place to start.

Below I will show you a really cool trick I just learned from a Gem of a manuscript containing all kinds of hidden WordPress back door secrets.

I have been a blogger, learning about blogging and of course learning WordPress for several years. I am in front of a computer so much that I have been known to take my shirt off for an hour or two so that I can take advantage of my monitors radiation level to work on my tan.

Yes, I admit it, I am a computer, internet junkie. I love to make money on the internet. I am so happy to be able to work from home, working my own hours, doing whatever I want to do whenever I want to do it.

I don’t even miss that morning commute any more.
It was really weird, when I first started to work from home I actually found myself checking to be sure I had everything before I made my new commute exactly 21 steps (I counted them) to my new office in a spare bedroom in my house, is that sick or what!

I even remember that I used to justify my commute by saying to myself (because I was the only one listening) that my morning trek was my quiet time. Yeah right, who was I kidding. If surrounding yourself with 20,000 pissed off caffeine junkies who are all late for work is your idea of quiet time; maybe you should plan your next family vacation to Iraq.

Let’s face it we all want freedom but we all know that freedom takes money. The more money you have the more freedom you have, period. To illustrate this point here is a saying from my dear old Dad. "Son, life is like a poop sandwich (not his words exactly), the more bread you've got the less poop you've got to eat". Wise words Dad, thanks.

Well, we also all know there’s a ton of money to be made on the internet, but the 64 thousand dollar question that eludes most people is, HOW? How in the world do you go out and get your piece of that mega Billion dollar pie?

The answer is… WordPress! Why you may ask? Well, the answer to THAT question is; it can do everything!

If you want to build conduit sites, adsense sites, affiliate sites, of course blogs, sales pages, review sites, landing pages, redirect sites, full blown company sites and so much more I could write a book on it, then WordPress is your goose that laid your Golden Egg!

Do you know what the real true definition of insanity is? It’s doing the same thing the same way over and over again every single day and somehow magically expecting the results to change. If it happens call me, I'll be impressed and I'll have to call the Guinness book of world records, because trust me they'll want to know.

My point is; if you’re really interested in making money online then it would be insanity if you didn’t want to master the one and only tool out there that can literally do it all for you. That would be like saying you're a professional carpenter but you don't want to find out how to use a hammer. Ridiculous I know, but it does illustrate the point.

So, what is the really cool tip and trick that you can launch into action right now and start earning money within the next 1 hour? Yes, you read that right, I just said that this one tip can have you putting money in your bank account within just one hour.

Well, first let me ask you just one thing. And don't worry this won't drag on very long at all. I don’t want you to start wondering if Starbucks delivers just so you can finish this article.

My question is; do you think online video games is a big industry? I know what you’re thinking; What? does it take this idiot an hour and a half to watch the TV show 60 minutes? No it doesn't, the last time I checked I got it down to only 63 minutes.

Well, what if you could finally have the power to turn a WordPress blog into your very own personal online video arcade? Sounds too good to be true right!

Well it's not too good to be true, WordPress just launched the plug in and I'm going to show you how easy it is to use right now.

To launch your video arcade simply choose a cool looking WordPress theme from 1000's of free themes online. Next just install the WordPress arcade game plug in and go sign up with Mochiads the company who will supply you with constant game feeds. When you’re taken to your welcome page just scroll down and get your games publisher ID. You then just type the ID into your WordPress dashboard so you can configure the plug in (You only need to click one button by the way, that's how easy it is). If you have all your files uploaded and named properly then that’s it!! That's all there is too it!

Ok, so you might be thinking, that’s great now I have a free game site, but how do I make money?

Well, if you have hundreds or thousands of people coming to your site every day to play free games you can load your pages with Google adsense, sell advertizing blocks on your site, put up your own ads for your own products or put ads for products you affiliate. Literally, the choices are endless.

This system is so easy, you can follow the simple directions I gave you and have it up and running in under 15 minutes.

Trust me, If I can do it, you can do it. You really can make a phenominal living online and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Of course people will always tell you you're crazy, but will it be the 1st time anyone's ever said that to you? Remember this; Today's Mighty Oak is just yesterdays Nut who held his ground.

I am absolutely not a professional WordPress Coach of any kind. I am simply a guy who wasn’t making enough money and needed a solution which I found at=> http://hotwordpresstips.tripleyourinfo.com

The fist thing you’ll want to do is to go to your site’s control panel, click the Fantastico icon, and let your server set up and install your blog. Once the blog has been installed, you will want to go into your administrative panel, which is called a dashboard. The dashboard allows you to update the blog software, add plugins, change the look of your blog and, of course, add content.

HOW TO UPDATE YOUR BLOG SOFTWARE

Recent versions of the blogging software have allowed you to update the software with just one click within your dashboard, and to search, review and install plugins that will enhance the power of your WordPress blog.

HOW TO ADJUST THE APPEARANCE OF YOUR BLOG

This plugin capability has been enhanced in the June 2009 WordPress update. The new WordPress Version 2.8 offers an outstanding and super easy to use theme feature that is similar to the plugin feature. You specify what you want by searching for and viewing themes directly from the dashboard – for instance, a 3 column, blue and white layout. Pick the theme that you want and WordPress will install it for you from your dashboard. The days of unzipping and then FTP’ing your theme to your site are over and you’ll save a heck of a lot of time.

After your theme has been installed, you can go to the edit page function and modify the php pages if you want. The page editing process is a lot easier with WordPress’ new color-coded theme editor. When you review PHP and stylesheet pages in the theme editor, the code is now numbered and colored, making the job thousands of times easier.

If you have installed a more complicated “magazine style” theme, you will be working with Timthumb to create thumbnail images on your front page. It is easy to work with this, but sometimes the documentation that comes with the WordPress theme provider is not very good. At Not Guru, you can find a step-by-step tutorial, replete with screen shots, which show you how to work with magazine style WordPress themes.

RECENT TWEAKS BOOST YOUR BLOG’S SPEED

As an added bonus, the new WordPress software has removed a bunch of bugs and it runs much faster.

REASONS TO BLOG

WordPress blogs, when updated frequently, are a fantastic search engine traffic magnet. If they are updated on a consistent basis, new posts generally show up in the search engines within hours. There is an easy way to get your blog posts indexed even faster, and it will not cost you a cent to do. What you do is install what is called the SEO blog plugin. With the new plugin installation platform in WordPress, installing the blog traffic plugin takes only a few minutes and a couple mouse clicks from your dashboard. Once installed, the plugin will tweak your blog, have you install other traffic-pulling plugins, and optimize the search engine capabilities of your blog. As you tweak your blog using the SEO blog software, you can see your SEO grade, like 80% or 90% optimized. You will see a huge difference in your blog’s performance once the SEO plugin is installed.

Because you will keep your web visitors happy with up-to-date content and the search engines constantly visiting your site, adding a blog is a powerful tool to add to your website. Thanks to the new WordPress release, it has never been simpler to install and maintain a blog. Blog installation tips, computer help and other practical guides are provided daily at the Not Guru blog.

If you are thinking about creating a blog, how to advice is always good to have. Here are my 7 steps to a search engine optimized blog:

1. Find a subject that you are knowledgeable about. Make a list of subjects and pick the one you know the most about. If you have a business, then you may want to write about it. If you are new to your business then writing about a hobby or interest is best.

2. Find a host for your blog. I like WordPress but there are others such as blogger.com, livejournal and thoughts.com. I recommend using your own website to host the blog rather than the free hosting. This will cost money but well worth it if you want the search engines to find your blog. If you are just blogging for fun, then the free hosting will be fine.

3. Once you create your blog setup, the next step is to add a post. I start with a keyword search tool such as Google AdWords. Then I think of a string of words (3 or more) and do a search. What you are looking for is many people searching for the words but not many people using those keywords. When you find a string of keywords that 4,000 – 10,000 people are searching for but only 50% or less are using these keywords, then write your post around those words. Use those words in your title and in the first paragraph (bolded). This is the hard part. Making your blog post make sense using those keywords. This is where your creativity comes in to play. You may not think you are creative, but you will be surprised when you put your mind to it.

4. Once you have created the blog post, send out an email to your list and let them know about your blog. I use Twitter but there are many social networking sites that you can use such as Facebook, My Space, Orkut, Linkedin, Tagged and so many more.

5. If you want the search engines to find your blog, post to your blog everyday. If that is not possible, then post at least 2 – 3 times per week. Search engines love fresh content, so the more you post, the higher you will rank in the search engines.

6. Now that you have completed steps 1 – 5, it is time to take your blog post and create an article. You may have to change it up a bit in order to follow the articles posting rules. I like Ezine Articles, Article Dashboard, and Free Articles Directory. Once you have 3 articles posted, you will be considered an expert author and that will also help you with the search engines.

I also recommend Squidoo and Hubpages. These are single web pages with your articles on them.

7. The last thing I recommend is to visit other blogs and post a comment. Make sure you read the post and leave a sincere comment. Also, use the blog’s keywords in your comment. This will provide links to other sites, another thing the search engines look for.

Blogging can be fun and also hard work. The more often you post, the quality of content and keywords you have in your post and the links to your post will determine how quickly the search engines find you. It does take time to get the “natural traffic” from blogging but it will be worth it in the end.

People with web experience of differing levels have worked and made sure that their sites and blog accounts were safe from computer hackers. However, the hackers practice an old baseball saying which goes, “If you want to be a success you have to hit ‘em where they ain’t.”

The weakness that the hackers have found is the WordPress Blog. Many may have never considered a blog to be worthy of a hacker's attention, yet with the way that advertising and marketing dollar potential have soared, that's what sets a hacker off on their hunt for a victim.

The hacker attacks on WordPress Blogs take the person who wants to come to a particular blog to a different site that’s full of ads, many of them obscene and many of them virus filled, which obviously does not present what was the assumed landing point blog in the best light. In fact, if one hacker attacked the blog, even if the attack was noticed quickly and fixed, the work the blogger did may not be recovered. If it's a blog full of content with years of archive material, a hacker's attack will turn all of that work into worthless untrustworthy words.

The attacks launched on WordPress Blogs by hackers get even worse for the blog owners. Google, for example, when (not if) their robots detect something suspicious about a WordPress Blog will include the following in the search result for that WordPress Blog.

“This site may harm your computer.”

If a person clicks on that phrase, which appears as a link within the search result listing, they will be taken to a page that will repeat the warning of harm to their computer and suggest that they go to another site or blog that came up in their search results.

Even if the blog owner finds the damage fast, the time lost with repair will cost a great deal. Your visitors will remember the warnings they saw from your blog even if everything on your blog has been fixed. If your blog traffic goes down, so will your ad revenue. In many cases this could mean the loss of advertisers since many affiliate ad programs require a specific level of traffic activity.

Sometimes a WordPress Blog owner will believe that the will notice quickly if their blog as been hacked and that they will be able to restore their blog without major damage done. They would need to remain proactive and not reactive, meaning they would need to be monitoring their WordPress blog every minute of each hour of the day. Only five minutes under the control of a hacker can destroy the connection that a WordPress Blog has made with every single person who visits the site at that point.

WordPress blog owners are urged to stay updated on current WordPress security patches, however it is still only a reactive step. One proactive step on your WordPress Blog is all that is needed to prevent a hacker from destroying your work and reputation.

James Stein, the creator of WordPress Secured, is an internet developer expert with 15 years experience with the development of educational programs. Instead of one plug-in fix after another, WordPress Secured brings total security to every WordPress Blog that anyone can learn and benefit from.

WordPress Secured shows you how to plug the security holes that many WordPress blogs have that hackers take advantage of. It show you how to find a blog's softspots and strengthens them. WordPress Secured users learn how to protect their important streams of income revenue. WordPress Secure is not only a smart tool but it will make the blogger more aware about their blog.

WordPress Secure contains the added feature of BadBot Killer. This program stops the scanning bots that seek out a WordPress Blog’s weaknesses that are the welcome mats for computer hackers. BadBot Killer stops the hackers even before they can find the front door to a WordPress Blog.

WordPress blog owners don’t realize the time and knowledge that is required to repair a WordPress blog after it has been hacked. WordPress Secure is one easy and educational package that keeps the WordPress Blog owner steps ahead any hacker.

If you know where to pinpoint the best free blog software available, starting a blog is very easy.

Start a blog if you're a newbie-I strongly advise you to.

What is this thing called a blog?

A blog, short for weblog, started way back in 1992 and soon caught on and gained its nickname in 1998, when the popularity of the internet really began to take off.

Basically, a blog is a web log. A blogger, or one who writes a blog, can write practically every day, even multiple times a day, about whatever comes to mind.

All interested readers could then comment and share with the blogger similar experiences or feelings.

There are over 300 million blogs now, with millions more created-and abandoned, every day. Bloggers are not just sharing everyday experiences, they are also using blogs to market products and services made by them or others, for profit.

Whatever your reason, starting a blog as a newbie can be a daunting task. There are so many blog platforms, but there are a few that are easy for you to work with. These are the free blog software platforms used by many.

There are free and paid hosted types of blogs to choose from. The most popular ones are blogger.com and wordpress.com. These are freeblog software platforms and are highly recommended for newbies.

These free types of blog software platforms are owner hosted. Blogger, which is owned by Google, is the host of its own blogs. WordPress.com owns and hosts theirs.

For example, if you start a blog using free software platforms, then the blog will read as "http://www.yoursitename.blogspot.com” for Blogger, and :http://yoursitename.wordpress.com” for WordPress.com.

The drawback of having a free hosted blog account is that you run the risk of the blog possibly one day being eliminated. Or worse. The free hosted blog generally is here to stay, but remember this: you do not own it. That’s the tradeoff. You can't put or take out of the blog however way you want, for the rules are quite strict and give less freedom.

Freedom isn’t free, it costs. To make that happen, you need a paid blog. Yet you'll need more experience, or you'll need to pay an expert to set it up properly…
